Sintering

Strong Connections for the Most Demanding Requirements

Low-temperature sintering is a new process that presents significant advantages when mounting power semiconductors on DCBs. Sintered connections based on silver are considerably thinner, lead to lower heat resistance, and do not wear as quickly as soldered connections. The overall reliability and service life of a sintered semiconductor are also significantly increased compared to its soldered counterpart. After thorough testing and use of the technology in several pilot projects, HE System Electronic is now ready to start series production.
